This concert forms the climax to a series of musical events in Hong Kong, under the direction of John Rutter. The concert includes  several of Rutter's well-known anthems; two large-scale works Gloria and Mass of the Children, and featuring the Asian premiere of Rutter's new piece, Visions, for solo violin (Kerson Leong), string orchestra and choristers.

This master workshop offers 36 experienced and well-prepared amateur singers the opportunity to sing John Rutter's Requiem under the guidance of the composer himself.  In addition, Gabriel Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine will be rehearsed.  The following day, John Rutter will conduct the singers and accompanying musicians as they perform both pieces in a concert.
